Tanya and her daughter left yesterday noon for Kharkiv after 9 days with us. What can I say? We love each other and make our plans. There you go. I’m going back to Ukraine on 31\/01. For the moment, I do not know if we will see each other in Kiev (I am on the strength) or Kharkov (I will call on your services for the driver and the apartment).<\/span><\/p>\n

Since my message, we have made good progress. You’re getting to know me, I don’t like to waste time. I asked my town hall for marriage preparation which discovered that Ukraine is a real country and no longer a republic of the USSR (true!). Long live Picardy. We will complete it with Tanya in Kiev at the end of the month. I sent Tanya a list of documents to be produced and translated, along with the apostille on civil registration documents. We’ll decide the wedding date at the end of the month I think. Aliona, her daughter, knows about it. She needs reassurance but is starting and the current is going well between us.<\/span><\/p>\n

I also asked the French Embassy in Kiev for the average time to obtain a long-term visa. I’m waiting for their response. The goal is that they can settle down at the beginning of the summer and take advantage of this period to improve their French skills. They don’t talk about it, but Tanya has learned to learn online. If all goes well, we will all 5 of us with our family in my cotignac house in July for a holiday in the sun, between the pool, the lake of Saint-Croix, the beach and Sainte-Victoire. Tanya is with her daughter in Kharkiv. We meet both in Kiev in 2 weeks for a romantic weekend. We will take an apartment there so that the girls are closer to the embassy and make it easier for me to reach them. We are making good progress with the schools and for us. Tanya’s daughter has accepted our project even though we know that difficult times lie ahead. They work their French and I’ve already seen high school for the next school year. Everything is clear about what to do. we spend long hours on Viber every day and I think we’re getting to know each other well.<\/span><\/p>\n
